And into the bonfire goes the things we wish to forget. Nothing brings people together like a raging fire… especially those fueled by a group purging of personal belongings. Computers, violins, piggy banks all make their way into the fire and the growing light cast a shadow on the ground of all who stand before it. On a technical note - the lighter blue tape that is on the ground is 3M’s 2090 longmask… a tape that is great for painters and hopeless for doing Tape Art effectively. We had acquired several trial boxes of this tape over the years and were delighted to throw it onto this mural’s fire and rid it from our lives.
