This drawing of a whale was drawn as an ominous warning to ourselves as we pointed our car down the highway to start a 29,000 mile road trip… stopping to create Tape Art works in 40 different states. This interior space with its bountiful, mesmerizing row of perfectly aligned blue chairs, set the stage for making an aquatic image. The whale’s size and power became our impending road trip; and the boats it crashes down on, those who failed to appreciate the size of their challenge. We drew ourselves the furthest away from this breaching mammal, watching those who fool-heartedly find themselves dashed by this beast of the sea.
